ABOUT

Hi! This is me, and my puppy Sushi!

I love to photograph people. That's it: people.  It can be small families, big families, babies, couples, it can be just you or even you and your dog (or just your dog because... ahn, who doesn't love puppies?)

Im from São Paulo, Brazil and have been living in San Diego for the past 6 years.
I've been working with photography for the past 12 years. My career as a photographer started when I was an assistant in a photo studio specialized in family and maternity. But then I realize that I love outdoors and to play with natural sun light. So if you also like natural candid moments in pretty outdoor locations, let's be friends!

I absolutely love working with Renata! My baby gives her the biggest smiles (or sleeps the entire time, as in the case of her newborn shoot) and I love the natural, beautiful photos we get from our sessions. Nothing is forced, it's just a relaxed environment where both the models (baby) and non models (mom and dad) in the family can shine. I have started a dangerous habit of creating a new gallery wall every time we do a shoot. I highly recommend Renata for your photos."

I spent a long time on Instagram looking for the right family photographer in San Diego. I'm so happy I found Renata because she is beyond talented and amazing at what she does! My daughter does not like to smile for pictures and will tense up anytime she sees a camera. Renata made her forget she was being photographed and essentially turned our photo session into a fun dance party! She effortlessly captured the joy and happiness of our family and I couldn't be happier with the photos. I highly highly recommend Renata and I'll definitely be using her again for future family photos!!"
